At more advanced stages larger regions of bone matrix can be seen such as the one in the fifura (highlighted in orange), surrounded by osteoblasts and osteoprogenitor cells (in blue).
Within the matrix, (in green) observe two osteocytes.
This is the beginning of the formation of a bone trabecula.
