The figure shows several segmented neutrophils highlighted in red when you move the cursor over the figure or click on the image. They are larger than red blood cells, measuring 10-15 µm in diameter. Their nucleus is lobulated and the cytoplasm lightly stained.
A band (young) neutrophil whose nucleus is shaped like a letter “C” can be seen – highlighted in purple when you click on the image or place the cursor.
Round and pear-shaped plasmocytes with out of the center nuclei are highlighted in green. The plasma cell indicated by the arrow as well as other ones display a less stained Golgi region in their cytoplasm. Lymphocytes highlighted in blue.
