CELL BOUNDARIES – 2
In many tissues it may be easier to identify cell boundaries than in the liver section.
The image shows epithelial cells that line the internal cavity (the “lumen”) of the small intestine. They are suported by a layer of connective tissue.
Several cell boundaries can be observed. Some of them are highlighted after placing the mouse or clicking over the image.
Look closely at the image and notice other epithelial cells with visible boundaries.
