CELL BOUNDARIES
In diagrams and drawings of tissues and organs, we always see cells with well-defined boundaries.
Unfortunately, however, these boundaries are not always easily seen in histological sections.
A quick count of nuclei seems to show that there are about 30 hepatocytes in this microscopic field.
As you place the mouse cursor or click over the image, the boundaries of some hepatocytes become highlighted. Hepatocytes may have two or even three nuclei, meaning that there may be less than 30 hepatocytes in this section.
Place the cursor and remove or click on and off the image several times to check if you agree with the choice of boundaries that I have done.
