CELL BOUNDARIES – 2
In many tissues, it is much easier to identify cell boundaries than in was in the liver section.
The image in this pageshows epithelial cells line the internal cavity (the “lumen”) of the small intestine. These epithelial cells are supoorted by connective tissue.
Many cell boundaries can be observed. Watch examples of cells with defined boundaries after placing the mouse or clicking over the image.
Look closely the image and notice other epithelial cells whose boundaries are visible.
