BLOOD CELLS
Their cytoplasm is filled with large orange stained eosinophylic granules, the specific granules of eosinophils. They occupy the cytoplasm and some of them are seen over the nucleus.
EOSINOPHILS
The images show nucleated cells larger than the red blood cells. The nucleus have two lobes united by a thin strand of chromatin although this can not be always observed when studying blood smears with an optical microscope - hover your cursor over the image to distinguish the lobes.
