ELASTIC FIBERS IN THE MESENTERY
The figure shows an image of a mesentery preparation stained to demonstrate elastic fibers of the connective fibers . They appear stained purple, are very thin, their caliber is very homogeneous and can be branched, and are disposed as a network.
