Top Figure
Observe a segmented neutrophil in the upper region of the figure.
In the lower part of the figure: a much larger cell than the red blood cells and than the neutrophil.

It has a marked indented nucleus and delicate chromatin. Its cytoplasm is weakly stained in light blue and does no granules can be seen. This is a monocyte.

Bottom Figure
A large cell with an indented nucleus and weakly stained cytoplasm without granules – monocyte.

The arrow points to a group of platelets.
