NUCLEI OF OTHER CELL TYPES
When examining a histological section, it is important to pay attention to the numerous details of the image.
Did you notice that there are nuclei of other cell types in addition to the spherical nuclei of hepatocytes?

They are generally stained more intensely than the nuclei of hepatocytes and their shape is not always circular. Some of them are nuclei of blood cells, such as of lymphocytes, others belong to cells placed in the “empty” spaces sitiated between the columns of hepatocytes.
