THINKING ABOUT 3-DIMENSIONS – 1
Which three-dimensional structure or geometric shape is seen as a circle after being sliced?
When studying a section under a microscope, we cannot easily know the shapes of its components before they were sectioned.
Whatching only one section, we may confound the section of a cylinder with the section of a sphere, if the cylinder was sectioned transversally and if the sphere was sectioned right through its center, since the images of both sections are very similar.
