THINKING ABOUT 3-DIMENSIONS – 1
Which three-dimensional structure or geometric shape is seen as a circle after being sliced?
When studying a section under a microscope, we cannot easily know the entire shapes of their components before they were sectioned.
For example, we may confound the section of a cylinder with that of a sphere, after the cylinder was sectioned transversally and the sphere right through its center, as both images are very similar.
