The nucleus have two lobes united by a thin strand of chromatin although this can not be always observed when studying blood smears with an optical microscope - hover your cursor over the image to distinguish the lobes.<br \/>\nTheir cytoplasm is filled with large orange stained eosinophylic granules, the specific granules of eosinophils.
