The choroid epitheliocytes produce and secrete into the ventricles of the brain the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) that occupies also the subarachnoid space and cavities of the spinal cord.<br \/>\nThe epithelium and its underlying tissue are folded into numerous villi, an arrangement that increases the production of CSF.
