Its collagen fibers are arranged in many directions and the osteocytes are irregularly distributed among the fibers.<\/p>\n<p>In <strong>lamellar bone<\/strong>, the collagen fibers are highly organized in parallel to one another and each group of fibers forms a thin layer called bone lamella.
